Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, a Stripe company and the merchant of record, which collects and remits sales tax and VAT worldwide. We chose it over Stripe directly because the ~2% fee premium buys away multi-jurisdiction tax compliance a solo founder cannot staff.
